L.A. marked the last stop on our motorcycle tour from Chile and, although we didn’t quite get the bike to the USA on first attempt, it was a huge milestone. We spent several evenings just soaking up the vibes here at Venice Beach and admiring the talented of these skaters.

I spent hours at the Venice Beach skate park, camera in hand, watching the light melt across the concrete as the sun dipped toward the horizon.
Can’t lie about how nerdy i felt in contract to these skaters. I just hope i did them justice with these pictures.

L.A. was the final destination of our motorcycle tour from Chile and indeed it was, though we never actually got to ride the bike here — in 2026 anyway. Because we couldn’t get the bike into Mexico, we ended up arriving by air but still managed to spend a few days enjoying whatever L.A. had to offer: great coffee houses, alternative shops and a few unforgettable characters. The world‑famous skate park in Venice — what a place.
It held all the nostalgia of childhood Americana we could hope for. On our last day we spent hours watching the guys and girls, kids and adults, and everyone in between riding the bowls. This lad just oozed cool.
