FJAERLAND - A limited Edition Print
“FJAERLAND” is a limited edition print of an image taken during our one night stay here. As i write this, my partner Lucy and I are travelling for 9 months. We have quite the trip planned and the budget is lean so we’re having weekly budget reviews to see that we’re on track… I digress. The point is that when we arrived here in Fjaerland and saw this little floating sauna on the Fjord, we couldn’t resist!
After checking in with the bank and agreeing that we could stretch to £13 each for an hour, we booked our slot and had the most incredible experience. There’s a lot about travel (be it in a converted van or otherwise) that isn’t glam but this felt like a moment of pure indulgence.
For an hour we moved back and forth, stress melting out of us in the heat whilst taking in the epic scenery and then plunging into the Fjord for instant rejuvination and a little brain freeze.
We will never, ever forrget this place.
