HILLTOP COFFEE is a limited edition print captured in Croatia at a little coffee shop in Oprtalj. If you happen to be travelling to the area then i cant recommend the village enough. Raised up on a hilltop you get views across the valley and the restaurant (Konoba Oprtalj) serves good, honest, traditional home cooked food.
It’s one of a few places on the trip where we felt we had left most of the other tourists behind and found a little community that welcomed us, put an arm around us and fed us incredibly well! It also happened to be at the heart of one of Europes black truffle centres…
The picture, i took becuse of the wonderful compliment of colour and light. The blue of the coffee shop framed the yellow facade of the opposite building perfectly.
