We started to see these birds as we crossed Northern Europe but there were more than anywhere in Poland. We were absolutely captivated by them and never tired of seeing them perched aloft a lamppost.
Since getting back from Europe we learned that there have been a few sightings in Devon, UK thanks to the efforts of a breeding programme. Coming to a lamppost near you!!
